Other Chows we were honored to have and although they are no longer with us in body, they remain with us in memory forever........
Tina
(OFA# CC-3346F43F-PI) Tina's Pedigree
received one Major her first weekend out at the age of 9 months, and her
second 4 point Major her second weekend out! In May 2001 she took a 4 point
major and finished. Besides being a champion, she is such a sweetie.
We were certainly blessed to have her. Tina is now the Queen
of the House in her new home in Florida, where she has adjusted very well
in a very short time.
Lolly
(OFA# CC-2895G32F) is being loved very much by a young
lady who wanted to have a Chow who liked to sit your lap and cuddly, just
like Lolly! It was a match made in heaven. We miss Lolly
very much here as she was a wonderful addition to our Chow family.
However, Lolly had to be spayed and we knew it would be much better for
her to be placed with a loving person where she would be #1, which she
is. Lolly is living with Thor (see following) Lolly's
Pedigree
Woodland's Reflections
of Thor
Thor
is now bringing happiness to his new owner who loves him and reports that
Thor is wonderful, and just "awesome", loves people, women especially,
and that he gets along with other breeds of dogs, big or small, very well.
He loves to take you for walks, have you give him treats, and just laps
up all the love and kisses you can give him. Of course, he gives it all
back! He is big but thinks he is still a pup. Thor's
Pedigree
Pao Chai Blk Velvet Princess
Princess (OFA # CC-2549G24F) was our first Chow. She was a Queen, and sweet. She was definately a daddy's girl, but she loved her mommy too. She'd roll over and let you scratch her belly rather than do anything else. When she was a puppy, she would love to chase rabbits, birds, squirrels, and unfortunately caught some. She has always been an "angel", she never did anything wrong, and now she's where all the doggy angels are. We still miss her.

Dragoncliff's Blue
Genes
BG
is a blue female Chow whom we purchased (Sire: CH Barbary's Zimi 'inth'
End Zone; Dam: Mei-Lings "Misty". She came into our lives at
8 weeks of age about 2 years ago. She is a very robust playful girl,
but can also be very loving and wants a lot of loving and will demand it.
We chuckle at her behavior a lot. She just turned 2 years old 11/13/02
and is our biggest female, about 70 lbs. We purchased her to show
and have shown her, and she is pointed, then she developed glaucoma.
BG is with her new owners now whom very loving and caring. We keep
in touch on a regular basis, as we do with all our others we place in new
homes.
UPDATE: BG died of bloat July 2003. Nothing can explain how saddened we were to hear this. Her new owners experience a great deal of sorrow as well, as they were very attached to her immediately.
CH Barbary's Zimi Inth
End Zone
Zimi
(OFA# CC-3190G27M-T) Zimi's
Pedigree belongs to Annette Mason (a friend of mine),
and I just can't say enough good things about Zimi, nor Annette.
Barbara Becker is co-owner and breeder of Zimi. Zimi has the friendliest
temperament I've ever seen in a Chow Chow. We are honored to have
been able to use him for stud. Thanks Annette and Barbara!
(Owner has given her permission given to use photo of Zimi)
Zimi/Glory pups
Update: Zimi crossed over the Rainbow Bridge in 2003
Spicy's Pedigree
Spicy (OFA# CC-2990G36F) came out #3 of the litter
and she is a very very energetic girl, whereby she earns the name given
her. Spicy loves to be loved and praised. She's a real sweety
with a wonderful attitude. She has been shown and has taken her class and
Reserve several times. Spicy is the dam of CH Rocky (above), and
CH Woodland Rhinestone Kvr Girl (Rhyna) Rhyna's
page
#1 Chow Chow Bitch for the year 2001, Woodland's Stand Up Be Seen, owned
by Bruce & Carolyn Koefoot,
who needs 1 more major, Pao Chai One Spicy
Girl (owned by owner of sire Kirby) who recently took a 4 point major
at 9 months of age, Woodland Cayenne Princess, who received her first BOB
June 2001, and Woodland's Red Hot Can-Dee who took a RWB, and BOB (a 3
point major) out of the Bred By class at the age of 8 months).
Spicy left us suddenly
on 11/3/04. She had fun 'til the end. She was never sick a
day in her life (except for a urinary infection once) and was always up
and playful. Our only peace from losing her like this (and what a
shock) was that she went quickly. We will always love you Spicy.
Zummer
(OFA# CC-3504G3F-PI and CC-EL146F37-PI) is a Zimi/Glory daughter (see sire
and dam above) Zummer's
pedigree . She
is very friendly and playful and energetic. She's a happy dog.
She also wants to be the only dog and is constantly giving us kisses
and begging for attention. Everyone loves Zummer! Zummer received
her championship July 2003.
July 2005. Zummer is now living with a wonderful family with two children in Florida. We are told that she has taken quite the liking to the children, and has appointed herself as their guardian.
Apollo (OFA #CC-2620G24M) was our second Chow.
He's a mommy's boy, but at times he's also a daddy's boy, and looks out
of the corner of his eye at me to see if I'm getting jealous when he decides
to cozy up to my husband! He has always been one to demand a lot
of attention, which we have always tried to give him. Apollo completed
his Championship the Spring of 1998 with a total of 3 majors (a 3 point,
a 5 point & a 4 pointer, and he enjoys the extra points!). He finished
in two weekends with the 5 and 4 point majors. In the above picture, he
is getting a 3 point major in Chicago (that's his mommy with him). Apollo's
Pedigree
Our sweet Apollo.... we miss you too much for words.

CH Woodland's Houstn Rocktn Spice
(1/24/98 - 12/07)
Here is Rocky Rocky's
Pedigree barely 7 months old & third weekend out. Rocky was
almost finished with 14 pts (includes a 3 point major).
He's our LOVE! I could go on and on about
Rocky, but then people would think I was bragging!!
On September 10, 2000 Rocky took BOB for
a 4 point major. It was his first show out after a 2 year hiatus.
We lost another one of our favorite Chow boys..... a Houston and Spicy son. I will never forget you Rocky.
